Use Rentman for inventory management, creating quick quotations and keeping overview of all your rental activities. It doesn't matter if its a small project like a simple dryhire or extended project planning for a large event. Every part of the rental cycle is planned, managed and tracked with Rentman.
Creating a quick quotation:
Quotations in Rentman are created based on a project. All projects (from dryhire to large event planning) are created and planned within the project module.
In a project, resources (equipment, contacts, crew and transport) are combined into a complete project plan. Based on the information in the project all documents like quotations and packing slips are created.
Several modules in Rentman help keeping an overview over all rental activities. Equipment availability insights are found in the equipment module and in the equipment tab in a project. Insights in projects are found in the dashboard (next steps), project module and agenda. Several modules give insights in specific parts like the subrent module and the financial module.
Working with your staff:
In Rentman each individual has an account (with or without limited rights and access). This way a freelancer has access to his/her planning and a packing slip but nothing more. At the same time a different crew member can have full access and rights. This way each crew member works with an own individualized account, for a company this makes teamwork much easier.
Rentman consists of several modules that contain databases with your equipment, contacts, staff and transport. These items are planned in the projects and ultimately appear on documents like your quotations.
Each of the databases can be easily filled with your own information by clicking on the green plus in the module. Equipment items and contacts can also be imported to Rentman in form of a CSV file.
Equipment items are added first as items and can later optionally be combined into kits and cases, other items can also be added as accessory. Contacts are added as contacts with contact persons connected to them, staff members are added with their own login information on the company account with specific rights chosen by selecting the desired user role.
